Since being founded in 2021, our mission has been to make sport enjoyable and accessible for the children we work with, giving them a safe space to play, learn and progress.
The Prequel - From Kenya to the Cotswolds
In February 2020, I (Freddie) embarked on a trip to Kenya with a charity called Cricket Without Boundaries.
Having met some incredible people, not least the Kenyan team lead, Niko, I returned feeling compelled to create an entity which could similarly help children to enjoy sport and develop as young people and so Kucheza Sports was born.
The brand draws inspiration from Niko and this experience and the company continues to donate money so that Niko can continue his amazing work in and around Nairobi.
The money helps to pay for kit and transport for the children he coaches, extending our impact beyond the Cotswolds.
